Festive Menu
Starters:
Roasted tomato, pepper and chestnut soup
Slow roasted tomatoes, red peppers and chestnuts topped with garlic and herb croutons, pancetta crumb and fresh cream. Accompanied by sourdough bread and butter.
Game Pate
A deliciously course pate of chicken livers with venison, partridge and pheasant. Topped with a redcurrant and port jelly and served with toasted flat bread, tossed salad, red onion marmalade and cornichons.
Smoked Salmon and langoustine cocktail
Crisp cos lettuce and juicy cherry tomatoes topped with Scottish Smoked salmon pieces and Atlantic prawns in our Brecon Vodka bloody Mary dressing. Garnished with a giant langoustine prawn, lemon and cayenne pepper.
Mains:
All of our stunning Festive main courses are accompanied by goose fat roast potatoes, honey glazed parsnips, buttered chantanay carrots, balsamic glazed brussel sprouts and garden peas.
Ty’r Winch Turkey Ballentine
Tender turkey breast escalope wrapped in bacon, stuffed with pork & cranberry stuffing and coated with our famous orange and cranberry glaze. Slow roasted and served with a giant pig in blanket and topped with cranberry and white wine Jus.
Beef Pot roast with French onion gravy
Succulent beef silverside slow roasted for 12 hours with white wine and vegetables. Generously sliced and served with a rich French onion gravy.
Parmesan Crusted Cod
Freshly roasted Cod tail fillet crusted with a parmesan, herb and lemon crumb. Accompanied by a delicate lemon butter sauce.
Squash, Cranberry and Red Onion Tagine
Butternut squash and red onion wedges in a sweetly spiced sauce. Flavoured with orange, cinnamon, cranberries and sultanas.
Desserts:
Traditional Christmas Pudding
Steamed spiced pudding, laced with brandy and packed with vine fruits and ginger. Served with our home-made Remy Martin VSOP brandy sauce.
Chocolate and Baileys Cheesecake
Individual New York style baked cheesecake marbled with rich Belgian chocolate and Bailey’s ganache on a crushed biscuit base. Served with a white chocolate and baileys sauce.
Chocolate Orange Fudge Cake
A double layer of chocolate sponge filled with chocolate fudge and wrapped in fudge icing. Served with a Brecon chocolate orange gin ganache.
